Kimberley Bennett is the Director of Hospitality Programs with the World Games 2010 Foundation. In this role, Kim will oversee the planning, design, sales and execution of the Games VIP hospitality program. Kim also has shared responsibilities in other areas of hospitality management surrounding the Games, including working with catering companies, design management firms, and other specialty functions that develop ahead of and during the event. Kim is a qualified hospitality and tourism ambassador and recently became a Certified Tourism Ambassador for the City of Lexington by the Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Kim is no stranger to the special events industry, having spent 13 years as Manager of Special Events, Development and Travel then as Director of Special Events and Travel for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. in Cooperstown, New York. From 1994-2007, she was the lead coordinator of all event functions for the annual Induction Ceremony and managed all VIP development events across the country.
Kim has a unique ability, with her background and talents, to oversee a program which will provide individuals, corporations and other dignitaries a distinctive, memorable experience as they attend the 2010 games.
A native of Edmeston, New York, Kim holds an A.A.S Tourism and Resort Marketing and Marketing Communications degree, from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. Kim, her husband Rod, their two children Jakob (9), and Brianna (6), recently moved from upstate New York to now reside in Lexington, Kentucky.
