General Parking will be available on site each day of the games. These spots will be $20 payable on site and will be cash sales only. Recreational vehicles are welcome to park in these lots but will be subject to an additional fee based on the number of spaces each particular vehicle occupies.
All Parking areas will have designated ADA parking locations. Additionally all parking areas will have mobility shuttles to assist anyone who requires mobility assistance.
A limited number of Premium parking spaces will be available on the Kentucky Horse Park grounds. A specific permit will be required to access these parking spaces. This permit will allow for in and out privileges on the day that your permit is valid. Daily permits may be purchased for $100, plus a service fee by visting Click and Park.
Due to space limitations there will be no oversized vehicles allowed to access this lot. Only vehicles the size of a 15 passenger van or smaller will be allowed to enter this lot and under no circumstances will trailers, buses or recreational vehicles be allowed to enter this lot.
Parking is available for Buses and daily permits for this lot can be obtained at Click and Park. Please note space is limited to fifty (50) vehicles per day.
Due to space limitations tailgating will not be permitted.
Lexington’s public transit system, LexTran, will be running an express bus from downtown. The cost of this round trip will be $2. This express bus will depart from High Street, between Upper and Mill Streets, in downtown Lexington at the top and bottom of each hour. The buses will run a constant loop between downtown Lexington and the Kentucky Horse Park. For more information regarding LexTran and the express bus please visit LexTran .
Gold Shield Transportation
Gold Shield is the official limousine and town car provider of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. As the official provider Gold Shield has exclusive access to the main entrance of the Kentucky Horse Park. To learn more please visit Gold Shield.

Riding Your Bike
The new Legacy Trail runs from downtown Lexington and ends inside the campground at the Kentucky Horse Park. Please note that spectators cannot bring their bikes through the gates of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, however there will be an area to park your bikes in the campground of the park. Parking your bike in this area will be at your own risk so please ensure you lock your bike. For more information on the Legacy Trail please click here.
If you are staying in a WEG Housing Bureau hotel you will have access to the Hotel Shuttle. First priority to purchase shuttle passes is given to those that booked their rooms through the Short’s Travel/2010 Games hotel listing. The Hotel Shuttle will service 44 different hotels in the region running on 9 different routes. Please click on the following link for a list of hotels. These shuttles will deliver spectators 15 min prior to the gates of the Kentucky Horse Park opening and the last bus will leave the Kentucky Horse Park two hours after the final competition is completed.
