Animal Health Company Announces Partnership Programme

[Dublin, Ireland] - Alltech are continuing to maintain the momentum as the title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010™, with the recent announcement of a collaborative programme with horse feed companies around the world.

According to Catherine Keogh, Alltech's global marketing director "The aim of this programme is to work in partnership with the world's leading horse feed manufacturers. Through this relationship we will provide sales, marketing and collaborative advertising support as well as hospitality opportunities for partners in the build-up to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010."

Alltech's commitment is already well established in the equine industry with brands such as Yea-Sacc®1026, which was the first live yeast culture for horses to receive EU approval and Sel-Plex®, which has just been granted EU approval as the only organic selenium available for horses and other species diets.

Keogh further stated, "At Alltech we are passionate about animal performance. This passion is what drives us to achieve excellence in everything we do, from our manufacturing facilities to our research laboratories to our quality products. The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 reflects Alltech's core values perfectly:'Passion, Excellence and Performance'".

Keogh explains that the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong will be the biggest equestrian event before the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 and this will give an advance preview of equestrian excellence, where three of the eight disciplines will be showcased. These include jumping, dressage and cross-country.

The Games will be held in Lexington, Kentucky from 25th September to 10th October in 2010, represent the largest and most prestigious animal related sports event globally and truly showcases world leaders in equestrian excellence. Athletes from around the world will compete in the eight disciplines that make up the games including: show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and for the first time in concurrence with the other seven, para-equestrian.
