Alltech Announces Destrier as Official French Feed Partner
[Dublin, IRELAND] – Alltech, the global animal health company is continuing to maintain the momentum as the title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 with the recent announcement of Destrier as the official French feed partner of the Games.

Dr. Pearse Lyons, president of Alltech, awarded Destrier as the official French feed partner at Hotel Royal Barrière, Deauville on Monday, 24 September 2007. Philippe Ruelle, managing director of the feed and animal health division of InVivo, French international show-jumper Hervé Godignon, Sven Holmberg, 1st vice-president of the FEI were present for the announcement of this four year partnership programme. Dr. Lyons explained, "The feed partnership programme is a unique opportunity for leading equine feed companies to be linked to this prestigious event as well as differentiating feed companies by providing added value."
Philippe Ruelle further added, "Destrier is delighted to be the official French feed partner for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010. The nutrition of these equine athletes is the very foundation of this event and Destrier is proud to be associated with this."
At present, this collaborative programme is taking place with other leading horse feed companies throughout the world. This partnership programme allows Destrier and all other partners from around the world to work with Alltech, a company that is passionate about animal performance. The Games will be held in Lexington, Kentucky from 25 September to 10 October in 2010. Riders from around the world will compete in the eight disciplines that comprise the Games including: show-jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and for the first time in concurrence with the other seven, para-equestrian disciplines.
