The second round of test events for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will take place this October, when the Kentucky Cup Driving and Kentucky Cup Endurance competitions are hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park.

About Kentucky Cup Driving
Kentucky Cup Driving is part of the United States Equestrian Federation National Driving Championships. Kentucky Cup Driving is an FEI rated four-in-hand division with teams of four horses driven throughout the three phases of competition, including Driven Dressage, Marathon and Obstacle Cones Driving.
Competitors from Australia, Canada and the U.S. are expected to compete at Kentucky Cup Driving, including previous World Equestrian Games medalists and national champions.
About Kentucky Cup Endurance
Kentucky Cup Endurance will feature both a 75 mile (120 km) race, and a 100 mile (160km) race. Both races comprise a series of loops on the Kentucky Horse Park and surrounding property, and will start at the same time the morning of October 14.
Riders from 18 countries are expected to compete, including current and past national and world champions.
Media interested in attending either the Kentucky Cup Driving or Kentucky Cup Endurance competitions must complete the appropriate forms by September 23. Applications for each test event can be downloaded here. Media interested in attending both competitions must complete both forms. In addition, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be hosting a “Driving and Endurance 101” Seminar and demonstrations for any media interested in learning the basics of these disciplines. The seminar will be held in late September. About the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are the world championships of eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Her Royal Highness Princess Haya is the current president of the FEI. The Games are held every four years and this will be the first occurrence in the United States.
