The Daily Must-See: Day 7, October 1

Every day of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be jam-packed with activities, entertainment, attractions and competitions. With the Kentucky Experience, Equine Village, Alltech Experience, Trade Show and competition venues scattered around the Kentucky Horse Park you’ll want to be sure to see a little bit of everything. Take a look at what is happening each day of the Games:

Day seven, October 1:

7 a.m. Gates open. The Kentucky Horse Park gift shop, museum and visitor information center open.

8 a.m. The Alltech Experience, Equine Village, Kentucky Experience and Trade Show exhibits open to spectators.

8:30 a.m. The Eventing World Championship presented by Reem Acra begins with Dressage Part Three at the Outdoor Stadium.

10 a.m. The first demonstration will start at the Equine Village. Many breed organizations and horse trainers will be giving demonstrations at the Village Arena throughout the day, including Asbury University at 10 a.m., the California Cowgirls at 12:30 p.m., Two as One Horsemanship at 4 p.m. and more. At the Clinician’s Coral, world-renowned clinicians will also be presenting all day. Don’t miss:
John Lyons at 11 a.m.
Craig Cameron at 1 p.m.
Pat Parelli at 4 p.m.
Tommie Turvey and Odd Job Bob at 6 p.m.

11:10 a.m. Templeton Thompson will perform at the Alltech Experience Pavilion. Also performing is Chris Holcombe at 12:15 p.m., Englishman at 5 p.m. and Off The Clock at 6:05 p.m.

At noon Mountain Echoes will perform at the Kentucky Experience Pavilion followed by Raison D’Etre at 1:30 p.m., Butch Rice at 3 p.m. and Stirfry at 4:30 p.m.

1:00 p.m. Part four of Eventing Dressage competition begins at the Outdoor Stadium.

7 p.m. The Dressage World Championship presented by Alltech will conclude with the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Outdoor Stadium. An awards ceremony will follow this exciting competition.

The Cookin’ in the Bluegrass: Celebrity Chef Dinner Series will be held at the Farmhouse. Day seven’s chefs include Kentucky chef Erik Fowler and James Beard chefs Marc Vetri and Tim Byres.
