The Louisville International Airport (SDF) is located 75 miles west of Lexington, Kentucky, located just off Interstate 64, and the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) is located 70 miles north of Lexington, just off Interstate 75.

General aviation services are also available at Georgetown-Scott County Regional Airport, just 10 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park.
